Bachire’s latest project is this gorgeous short, featuring Tunisian-French actress Amina Ben-Smaïl, and the Fouta Harissa TERRA capsule collection.
With complete creative freedom and two foutas, Bachire created a poetic film with a dreamlike mood, playing with texture, celebrating womanhood and showcasing the fouta’s sensual versatility.
You may recognize Amina from her previous work with Fouta Harissa. This luminous NYC and Paris-based actress recently earned her MFA at the Actor’s Studio in New York City. Catch her in two upcoming feature films in 2021, including the Tunisian LGBTQ film, Ambiguity.
The fouta has so many uses and interpretations and we love to see the creativity and joy they inspire. Big thanks to Bachire for proposing this project and Amina for always being such a joy to work with. We’re proud to collaborate with such gifted artists who so beautifully capture the fouta life.
